CLU is the permission granted by TCP Haryana to change the permitted land use as per the final development plan of that area.

2. When is CLU Required?

  • Residential colony
  • Industrial / warehouse / logistics
  • Commercial / institutional
  • Resort, motel, dhaba
  • Hospital, school, university
  • Farmhouse, farmhouse colony
  • Any non-agricultural activity

3. Requirements for CLU

  • Ownership documents
  • Jamabandi / Girdawari
  • Aks shajra & site plan
  • NOC from relevant authorities
  • Project report
  • Approach road (6m minimum)
  • Zoning confirmation

4. Fees & Charges

  • Scrutiny fee
  • Conversion charges
  • External development charges (if applicable)
  • Bank guarantee

5. Approval Time

30–90 days depending on project type.

6. Validity

CLU valid typically for 2 years (extendable).
